UC Library Easter Egg Hunt, FHE, Surprise From Gma & Gpa from Arizona

John Arlie went to his reading group Monday.  Ms. Ginny told a couple of fun stories and her assistant Mr. Rabbit went behind the Library and hid some eggs for the kids.  He had a blast!

Then afterwards they went inside for cookies and a bonus easter egg to put in their baskets.
For Family Home Evening we did a scavenger hunt.  I got this idea from LDSliving.com.  We looked for a stick that represented the cross, a thorned stick that represented the crown of thorns, a sharp stick that represents the spear, a smooth round stone that represents the rock in front of the sepulcre, and a living thing that represents Jesus still lives.  We then read the scriptures correlating with the objects and sang "Did Jesus Really Live Again?" which, thanks to his Primary Music leader, he knows all the words!

Grandma and Grandpa, this picture John Arlie colored is for you!  You'll be getting it in the mail this week!

After Family Home Evening, John Arlie opened his Easter box we got in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Brewer in Arizona!  Boy was he excited!

Look at his spiffy suit!  He was sporting all around the house.

He then said "Let's go!" and went outside.  We asked him where we were going and he said "We have to go show Grandma and Grandpa!".  We told him that it would take too long to get to Arizona tonight. That was kinda sad :(  We went back inside and chewed some gum that he got from them and played some.  He felt better.
