Gingerbread Houses, A Wedding, Christmas Devotional, 25 Days of Christmas Unit Study...Oh my!

We started off making homemade gingerbread houses. Mom makes this recipe every year. It works perfectly and is delicious to eat too! CLICK HERE for the recipe!

Then we went to a wedding at church. It was so cute and we had a great time dancing!

Sunday was our annual First Presidency Christmas Devotional. It's always so good and uplifting!
Our tradition is to string popcorn while listening and then put it on the tree. This is a tradition carried on from Ed's side of the family. It looks so cute and homey on the tree. Love it!

We've been using a fun 25 day Christmas unit study by Discover The Scriptures. It has been a lot of fun! Here is what we did today. We learned about the legend of the Christmas tree and how it began, and then made a recipe. We skipped the rice krispies treats because John doesn't like them, so we made Christmas trees out of white chocolate and sprinkled it to death, lol!!
