Fun Weekend!

This is what happens on most Friday nights. We are so wild I know.

This weekend we had a lot of fun! Friday night we went to LaCabana to eat some dangerously good food and then we took John Arlie to get a $5 toy at the local Family Dollar. We haven't done anything in so long it actually felt like a date even though John Arlie came along (which we didn't mind:). We ran into Merrianne and Spencer at the restaurant. We all had a good time!
As you can see, Ed is very fond of his Bro-In-Law!

Saturday was our Ward Christmas Party. The food was great and everyone had a good time. It was freezing outside but that didn't stop 75 or 80 of us showing up. In our Ward most people have to drive at least 10 or 15 minutes to get to church. Some others have to drive up to an hour to get there. So for that many people to show up on a realllllly cold night, those are pretty good numbers.
Sunday we watched the Christmas Devotional. The talks were wonderful. The Choir sounded great as always! What is really weird though is that in the very beginning of the program, it was all in Spanish. I thought what the heck is going on?! Am I losing my mind or are they speaking Spanish? I wasn't losing my mind thank goodness. Mom and Dad said their TV was doing the same thing. After the opening prayer was said somebody realised there was a problem and fixed it.

Sunday morning Ed had to work before Church....taking John Arlie's crib down and transitioning it into a Toddler bed. He started doing flips out of the crib the night before. Ed had to do it Sunday morning because John Arlie takes an afternoon nap and we wouldn't get home til 1:30. He did real good! We laid him down in the bed after church and he went right to sleep without a fuss! I am sooo glad! YAY!

  1. Same thing happened to us! The only person who could understand the beginning was Steve...we thought we did something to our TV, but it turned out ok.
