My husband and I have decided to make a New Year's Resolution of having 52 date nights this year. Since we have totally neglected the wise counsel to have a night set aside just for the husband and wife for time to themselves (for the last 10 years mind you), we have a lot of catch up to do. I am excited about it! We are going to take turns deciding what to do and babysitting arrangements etc. That way we both can use a little imagination and get little surprises from the other.
Like tonight we had 1 hour to spend so we totally rocked it by......
going to Taco Bell and then buying some Drumstick Icecream Cones to take home. Totally romantic I know. Well, it was rushed and last minute and well, we stink at this. But hey! We've had our first of 52 dates! It'll get better. And actually it was pretty nice!
